You assign the words. Brevlex tracks each student on each one.

Set the class's grade level and assign a word list, with an optional due date.

Grade level: Set when you create the class.
Word list: Pick words from the bank or type your own, with an optional due date.
Progress: See how each student is doing on the assigned words.

See who needs help.

Progress per student, per word — so the one who is stuck doesn't disappear into the class average.

03 · Student privacy

No student emails. No ads. No trackers.

For students aged 13 and older (typically grades 7–12). Brevlex is not for children under 13.

No emails: In school classes, students join with a six-character class code. Brevlex gives each one a placeholder account and doesn't ask for or store a student's email. Adult classes sign in with their own accounts.
Approval-only: Educator accounts are approval-only. There is no self-serve signup.
Filtered: In school classes, sentences pass a second, stricter content filter built for classrooms.
No trackers: Pages for school-class students load no ads, no third-party analytics and no session replay. DPA details and draft on request.

Do my students need email addresses?

Not in a school class. Students join with a six-character class code, and Brevlex gives each one a placeholder account instead of asking for an email. Adult classes work differently: those students sign in with their own Brevlex accounts.

How do I get an educator account?

Submit the form on this page. Requests go to our team, and we answer by email.

Can I bring my own word list?

Yes. Build a list in the educator dashboard: pick many words at once from the Brevlex word bank for your grade, or type in your own. CSV import is not available yet.

Does Brevlex work for grades K–6?

No. Brevlex is for students aged 13 and older (typically grades 7–12); it is not for children under 13.
