The Service, including its design, code, visual assets, word database, and AI-generated content, is owned by Brevlex and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Your personal study data (such as flashcards, progress, and settings) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over the information you provide to personalize your learning experience.
Brevlex offers a free tier that includes core vocabulary learning features with daily usage limits. We may introduce paid subscription plans in the future that offer additional features or higher usage limits.
If and when paid plans become available, pricing and billing terms will be clearly communicated before you are asked to subscribe. We will never charge you without your explicit consent.
We reserve the right to modify the features available in the free tier, though we will strive to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action, unless the violation is severe or poses a risk to other users or our systems.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Brevlex and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. Brevlex is an independently developed product, and while we take care to build a reliable service, occasional hiccups are part of the journey.
Brevlex is a vocabulary learning tool. It is not a substitute for professional language instruction, test preparation courses, or educational services. Your results will depend on your individual effort and consistency.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Brevlex operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.
