Actively rostered students only — inactive or removed students and co-teachers never count. That rule sets your free class's 30-student limit and District's quote. Teams is the exception: it's flat per teacher, whether you run 30 students or 300.
FERPA-aligned, grades 7-12 only — under-13 use is not supported. Student pages ship without ad pixels, third-party analytics, or session replay. DPA on request at /legal/dpa.
Cancelling ends the paid tier — it doesn't delete anything. Your classes, rosters, and progress stay, and you can export them any time. Data is removed only when you delete your account, which opens a 30-day recovery window first. Student records left in no class are purged after a year of inactivity.
